Power Flushing

Having problems with noisey central heating? Radiators not heating up properly? Boiler or system scaled or sludged up? You could need to have your central heating system powerflushed!! This is essentially a thorough clean of your boiler, radiators and pipework; we pump water with a chemical cleaner in it through your system to clean out the sludge and limescale, refilling the system with an inhibitor to prevent further corrosion, and balancing the radiators so that the system works correctly. While a powerflush will clean - and can have a highly beneficial effect on the energy efficiency of - your system, if your radiators or boiler are old or highly corroded internally, you may find that removing the sludge and rust can lead to the radiators and valves leaking (the rust could be holding it all together); should this happen they will obviously need to be replaced. If they are in this condition, then they are likely to fail sooner rather than later, and it is better that they start leaking while someone is there, rather than in the middle of the night or while you are on holiday!
